Anthony Dirrell picked up his second straight win following the lone loss of his career, tearing through one-time middleweight title challenger Caleb Truax in less than a round.

The card is headlined by the return of the Dirrell brothers as Olympic Bronze medalist Andre "The Resurrected" Dirrell battles Australia's Blake Caparello and former world champion Anthony "The Dog" Dirrell takes on Minnesota's Caleb "Golden" Truax. Televised coverage begins at 9 p.m. ET/PT with knockout artist Jonathan Guzman against Mexico's Daniel Rosas in a 122-pound eliminator.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - Olympic Bronze Medalist Andre Dirrell (24-2, 16 KOs) takes on Australia's Blake Caparello (22-1-1, 6 KOs) in a 10-round super middleweight attraction as Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) returns to Spike on Friday, April 29 from Taj Mahal Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Famed footballer Shane Tuck became the latest from that world to give boxing a try. It produced frightentingly horrible results, as he was knocked out cold in four rounds by southpaw Lucas Miller (1-0-1, 1KO) in their cruiserweight battle Wednesday evening in Melbourne, Australia.

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA - Rising star Prichard "Digget" Colon (16-0, 13 KOs) faces undefeated Terrel Williams (14-0, 12 KOs) on Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on NBC Saturday, October 17 from EagleBank Arena at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. The 10-round welterweight bout between Colon and Williams will replace the previously announced battle between Andre Dirrell and Blake Caparello after Dirrell had to withdraw for medical reasons.

Confirming Wednesday's breaking news by BoxingScene.com Editor-in-Chief Rick Reeno, additional details have been revealed for the October 17 showdown between Lamont Peterson and Felix Diaz. The show—which will air live in an afternoon edition of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on NBC—now has a home and a solidified co-feature, with the event heading to EagleBank Arena on George Mason University campus in Fairfax, Virginia.

Montreal, Canada, is a long way from Australia. But Blake Caparello has traveled quite a distance from home to work in camp with Artur Beterbiev, the 7-0 (7 KOs) light heavyweight prospect who will be facing Gabriel Campillo on April 4. “We’ve done a couple of sessions already. Beterbiev’s a very strong fighter,” Caparello said on March 13 while at the weigh-in for Sergey Kovalev’s fight with Jean Pascal. Kovalev stopped Caparello in two rounds last year.

Blake Caparello’s had one fight since his second-round stoppage loss to Sergey Kovalev last year. And while that defeat came against one of the best at 175, Caparello is mulling dropping down to 168. “I can make super middleweight and there’s a lot of options there at the moment,” he said. “Light heavyweight’s a little bit tied up at the top end, so I’ll see what happens. If an opportunity comes at light heavyweight, we’ll take it. But we’re looking at super middleweight.”

The August 2 split-site tripleheader generated a lot of press for HBO, though almost none of it pertained to the actual matchups that aired live from Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Such was reflected in the ratings, in which the night served as an investment into the future more so than significant reason to turn in on a midsummer night. The storyline for the evening was the light heavyweight title fight showcased from Atlantic City serving as a prelude to a major clash in the fall, one that also caused a major shakeup between HBO and Showtime. Sergey Kovalev survived a flash knockdown in round one to score three knockdowns of his own in a 2nd round stoppage of overmatched Blake Caparello at the Revel Resort in Atlantic City.

Bill "Two Scoops" Emes catches up with WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev to discuss his second round TKO of Blake Caparello, the knockdown that he suffered in the first round, the bodyshot that landed on Caparello, the finalized HBO televised fight on November 8th with WBA/IBF champion Bernard Hopkins, the tactics of Hopkins, the surprise that Hopkins actually accepted the contest, whether he can score a knockout on Hopkins, and more.
