SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO - After their exciting fight on August 10th, Bernard "Bimbo" Lebron and Antonio Sanchez will meet again in the next edition of "A Puño Limpio" on Friday, October 26, at the Rubén Zayas Montañez Coliseum in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, in a presentation of PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP) in association with Spartan Boxing, which will be broadcast by Wapa Deportes.
Lebron (10-1, 4 KOs) and Sanchez (5-5-2, 3 KOs) met in the first show of "A Puño Limpio" on August 10 and after eight exciting rounds, Lebron won a close unanimous decision with identical votes from the three judges, who scored it 76-75, being the point of the advantage the knockdown that Lebrón inflicted on Sanchez in the sixth round.
"A lot of people asked for this rematch and we managed to reach agreements to give the public what they wanted, Bimbo Lebron against Antonio Sánchez part 2. Those who were in the Coliseum on August 10 witnessed a great fight, as well as those who saw it television through Wapa Deportes, so we did everything we could to have a second part," said Iván Rivera, president of PRBBP.
The bout between Lebrón and Sánchez will be at 10 rounds and 140 pounds.
The series "A Puño Limpio", in its first part, took place between 2011 and 2012 with shows around Puerto Rico, and had in action fighters like the current world champion Emmanuel "Manny" Rodríguez (in his debut), former world champion Manuel Alejandro "Manny" Siaca, later world champion McJoe Arroyo, as well as future world challengers McWilliams Arroyo, Jonathan Oquendo, José "Chelo" González and David Quijano, and then prospect Jonathan "Bomba "González, among others.
