Veteran Nathan Barcelona of the Philippines has lost a one-sided, twelve round decision to undefeated IBF Pan Pacific bantamweight champion Terapong (Distar) Kaewnongsamed at the Chaophraya Park Hotel in Bangkok,over the weekend.

Barcelona’s aggressive style was perfect for the accurate counter punches of Terapong although Barcelona caught the Thai champion with some solid punches to the head and body in round five. Terapong fought back furiously in the sixth round and nailed
Barcelona with a series of combinations to take control of the fight. All three judges scored it for Terapong, 120-108, 119-109 and 119-111 but the scores did not reflect the game challenge of Barcelona.
