Austin Trout gives his thoughts on Canelo Alvarez versus Jaime Munguia.

Former world champion Austin “No Doubt” Trout defeated Luis “Baboon” Palomino via unanimous decision in their action-packed showdown for the vacant BKFC welterweight world title in the main event of BKFC-57 at the sold-out Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL.

The ladies finally won. Or so they thought. Austin Trout’s mom, Minnesa, and wife, Taylor, had hoped that the former world junior middleweight champion’s unanimous decision win over Jose Sanchez Charles in December of 2022 was going to be his last one.

WBO Global super welterweight champ Slawa Spomer (19-0) retained the title and added the WBA Inter-Continental title to his collection after stopping touted Frenchman Milan Prat (20-1) last night (October 14) in the tenth round in the headliner of Legacy Sports Management's big show at the Rudolf Weber Arena in Oberhausen.

Rising French star and reigning EBU and WBA Intercontinental super welterweight champ Milan Prat (20-0) goes for a third belt on October 14 in Oberhausen (Germany) when he is in against WBO Global titlist Slawa Spomer (18-0) from Germany.

Canelo Alvarez and Jermell Charlo are set to square off in a super middleweight fight on September 30 in a battle between undisputed champions. Alvarez (59-2-2, 39 KOs) has been a professional fighter since 2005 and Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KOs) since 2007, but the pair of 33-year-olds only share one common opponent throughout their careers, and that’s Austin Trout.

Tim Tszyu sort of came out of nowhere. Although he spent the first 20 fights of his career taking on unheralded fighters in Australia, Tszyu kicked in the WBO’s door and found himself ranked number one in the sanctioning body at 154 pounds.

Fighting in the welterweight division in a cross-state rivalry fight, former junior middleweight world champion Austin ‘No Doubt’ Trout of Las Cruces, NM made bare knuckle debut in stopping UFC veteran Diego Sanchez of Albuquerque, NM in the fourth round.

Austin “No Doubt” Trout is currently in the middle of his training camp for his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship debut. He will face former UFC star Diego Sanchez on February 17th in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The bout will serve as the chief supporting bout underneath the Lorenzo Hunt-Mike Richman main event.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) formally announced the welterweight clash between cross-state arch-rivals; Boxing World Champion Austin ‘No Doubt’ Trout of Las Cruces, NM and UFC Legend Diego ‘The Nightmare’ Sanchez of Albuquerque, NM at KnuckleMania 3, on Friday, February 17 at the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque.
