Jesus Rojas (18-1-1-1, 13KOs) believes WBO bantamweight champion Jorge Arce (60-6-2-1, 46KOs) was more than capable of being able to continue during the second round of last Saturday's fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Rojas, who went down in the first thirty seconds of the first round, began to rally for the remainder with hard punches.

He continued to take the fight to Arce in the second, until there was a low blow, and a minor clash of heads, and then Rojas hit Arce with a left hook to the side of the head and the Mexican champion went down. Arce was was unable to recover, claiming an ear issue from Rojas' punch, and the fight was rulled a no-decision.

"I don't know why he did it, but I think that it was an act of cowardice. He was being a coward about it. He didn't want to keep on fighting because he was feeling the punches," Rojas said.

Rojas' trainer, Evangelista Cotto, agrees with his fighter.

"We all agree on the same thing, that he put on a show because he didn't want to fight any more," Cotto said.
