Zulina "Loba" Munoz has packed forty wins, with twenty six KO's, and two draws in her sensational career, but she's absolutely determined to avenge her one and only defeat.

Back on September 15th, 2007, a 20-year-old Zulina was defeated on points by Germany's Alesia Graf, in the Stadthalle Rostock, Michlenburg-Vorpommem.

Zulina has since matured into a powerful and wonderful fighter, who's now the WBC super flyweight champion. She stresses she's had a great 2013 but she'll continue working hard. Typically and enthusiastically she pledged:

“I will train as a rookie and keep working like this, to remain the best!”

“Loba” defeated Argentine Marisa “Nena” Portillo on November 30th in Toluca. During this memorable year she's also defeated Japanese Tenkai Tsunami, Uruguay’s Soledad Macedo and her compatriot Maribel Ramírez.

Trainer Mauro Ayala, says:

“Zulina has significantly improved her technique. She's learned how to close off the exit routes sought by rivals. We were able to see this during her last fight against Portillo.

Zulina herself said: “I had a great year and I want to thank the people for their support, I hope everybody has great holidays and a marvellous 2014. I want to thank my team. They’re the best! I feel blessed with my son and my career.”

But there's still the hankering to put the record straight! Zulina has publically declared that she wants to face German Alesia Graf in the coming year.
