Coming off his title loss to Amnant Ruenroeng in March for the IBF flyweight title, two-time Olympic gold medalist Zou Shiming is set to return to the ring.

"Zou is coming back in Shanghai on January 23rd," said promoter Bob Arum, who has promoted the Chinese boxer that captured two Olympic gold medals for his country.

Arum then added - "We may do a show with IK Yang and Rex Tso over in Macao on December 19th."

According to Arum, Top Rank will continue on with its boxing program in China.

"We're getting a tremendous number of sponsors now in China, really, it's great. Obviously, things are rosy like they used to be in Macao and so more of our activity will switch to the mainland," he explained.

Most of their cards in this country have taken place at the Cotai Arena at the Venetian Resort but they have expanded their series and will do about the same number of cards in China as they have the past few years.

"Absolutely, as a matter of fact, more," stated Arum. "Because we have these lower level shows, the developmental fights. But of the main fights, about six events in China next year."
