Jose "Chon" Zepeda is one of Mexico's most promising young boxers and next week will have the opportunity to fight for a world championship against another undefeated fighter Terry Flanagan.
Zepeda (23-0, 20 KOs) and Flanagan (27-0, 10 KOs) will battle for the vacant lightweight World Boxing Organization (WBO) championship on saturday July 11 in Manchester, England.

Fernando Beltran, the president of Zanfer, likes Zepeda chances against Flanagan.
"This is the perfect timing for Zepeda to have this fight. He have being working with him this last few years and he has shown all of us that he has all the tools to become a world champions", said Beltran.
Zepeda is a very strong fighter who is trained by the experience Robert Alcazar, the former trainer of all-time great Oscar de la Hoya and the late Edwin Valerio.
"We the knew the opportunity will happen this year and now is time to take advantage of it. We know that Flanagan is a good boxer and wll be fighting at home, but we also know what Zepeda is very talented and I am confident that he will return from England with the belt", said Beltran.
