According to several sources, former European champion Zeljko Mavrovic (27-1, 22 KOs) of Croatia is actually in full training camp in Spain for a ring return. The 43-year-old has not fought since suffering the only loss of his pro career, when he dropped a tough twelve round decision to then WBC champion Lennox Lewis in 1998. International reporters are stating that Mavrovic will return on April 27th in Hamburg, with the rumored opponent being Enad Licina (22-4, 12 KOs) of Serbia - which is going to play on the hostile relationship between their respective countries.

After losing to Lewis, he retired from boxing with a mysterious illness and lost a lot of weight from his health issues.

It remains to be seen if the information is accurate. Several sources who are connected to Mavrovic are refusing to comment on the information.
