Zamora Will Defend Title on Rubio vs. Spada Card

WBC junior flyweight champion Ibeth "Roca" Zamora (19-5, 8KOs) will be featured as part of the card “Guerra de Naciones” that will be topped by the championship fight between Marco Antonio Rubio and Domenico Spada for the WBC interim-middleweight title. The card takes place for April 5th at Gran Estadio in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Zamora, will return to the ring after her magnificent victory over American Ava Knight, and she's confident in continuing as champion.

Zamora said that she’s honored to be part of the card of a great WBC championship title.

“I have the responsibility as world champion to use these fights to show that female boxing is also interesting and that we women can get whatever we want based on hard work,” she explained.
