Former two division world champion Zab Judah is confident that Floyd Mayweather's defensive skills will be the key to defeating WBA/WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-0-2, 30KOs) later tonight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Judah dropped a twelve round decision to Mayweather (44-0, 26KOs) in 2006.
"You have to give him a puncher's chance. Anybody can be hit, get hurt and knocked out. Let's be real here, I'm fast and I hit hard, but Floyd is also very fast and he's able to get away from good shots. When Canelo realizes that he can't hit him with those clean hard shots that he's used to hitting everyone else with - that's when the fight will start changing. I think Floyd just has to box and be him, counert-punch good and use defense - and it will be a good night," Judah told BoxingScene.com.
