The pay-per-view undercard to Roy Jones Jr. vs. Joe Calzaghe, scheduled for November 8 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, will feature two junior welterweight bouts.
The co-feature will see the return of two-division champion Zab Judah (36-6, 25KOs), as he takes on Ernest Johnson (18-2, 7KOs). The fight will take place at an agreed weight of 144-pounds. Judah in his first step to a grand return to the junior welterweight limit. He's been fighting at welterweight since 2004. Johnson has never been stopped. He also never faced anyone on the level of Judah, either.
The other bout will feature Brooklyn 140-pound prospect Dmitriy Salita (28-0-1, 16KOs) against Derrick Campos (17-5, 10KOs) for the vacant IBF Inter-Continental light welterweight. Campos came close to stopping Jorge Paez Jr. during their 2006 four-round contest. He dropped Paez in the closing seconds of the last round and ran out of time before he could follow-up.
