Zab Judah tried to be respectful Tuesday, but he obviously hasn’t forgiven Angel Garcia for the trainer’s disrespectful diatribe during a Dec. 1 press conference to officially announce the Judah-Danny Garcia fight.

The former two-division champion expects not only to win another world title Saturday night at Barclays Center, but to silence Danny Garcia’s outspoken father/trainer.

“It’s called killing two birds with one stone,” Judah said at an open workout Tuesday in New York. “Angel Garcia’s a trainer. He’s a father. He’s the older man. I respect my elders.

“At the same time, I can’t get in the ring and fight Angel Garcia. What do I do? I fight. I knock people out. I can’t do that with Angel. I am going to knock Danny Garcia out and watch Angel come in there and pick him up.”

The 12-round WBC super welterweight championship bout between Philadelphia’s Garcia (26-0, 15 KOs) and the Brooklyn-bred Judah (42-7, 29 KOs, 2 NC) will be broadcast as the main event of a “Showtime Championship Boxing” doubleheader at 9 p.m. ET.
