A video emerged over the past couple of days featuring former world champion Yuriorkis Gamboa (25-1, 17 KOs) and his fellow Cuban, esteemed trainer Ismael Salas, hitting the pads at his gym in Las Vegas.  The two have worked together in the past.

Gamboa recently signed with fledgling promoter BB Promotions based in Barcelona, Spain, and is looking to bounce back to big time boxing following his 2014 loss to Terence Crawford.

Gamboa did, however, secure two low key victories following that stoppage defeat, the last of which was in December, 2015.

Gamboa will now train alongside the likes of Rances Barthelemy and Jorge Linares in what is quite an assortment of talent at the Salas Gym.

Linares is due to return to Vegas next weekend following a training stint in Japan where he has lived for many years.
