Yuriorkis Gamboa Knocks Whyber Garcia Out in Four

At the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, WBA "regular" featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa (16-0, 14KOs) stopped Whyber Garcia (22-7, 15KOs) in four rounds.

After a slow first round, Gamboa picked up the pace in the second and third rounds. During the fourth, a counter right hand sent Garcia down on his face. He barely made it up and Gamboa punished him until the ref stopped the fight.
