Luis Ramon "Yori Boy" Campas, will look for win number 98 on June 17 when he faces Rogelio Medina in Navojoa, Sonora. Campas, who spent 24 years in boxing and was an active world champion, has 97 wins, 15 losses, one draw and 76 wins by knockout. Medina in contrast, is 22 years old, and has a record of 25 wins, 19 knockouts and a loss. Campas has been fighting as a professional since 1987, was born in Navojoa, and ten years after his debut in 1997 he was crowned middleweight champion of the International Boxing Federation (IBF), be dethroning Raul Marquez. "Yori Boy" made three defenses of the world championship, and in his fourth defense he lost the title to Fernando "Ferocious" Vargas.
