Top welterweight contender Yordenis Ugas (25-4) recently appeared on Premier Boxing Champions' Facebook page to interact with fans. PBC has regularly had their fighters appear on different social media outlets to interact with fans while the sport is on hold because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 33-year-old Las Vegas based Cuban answered questions on a variety of topics ranging from his own career to other questions pertaining to the boxing world.

"It will happen in the future. Right now I am comfortable at 147 but I have the size and power to go up to 154. 154 is a strong division and once I win a title at 147 and have a few defenses then I will look to move up to 154," Ugas explained.

He was also asked about his fight last July against former champion Omar Figueroa Jr. on the Manny Pacquiao-Keith Thurman pay-per-view undercard. Ugas dominated the fight from the opening bell, winning 119-107 on all 3 scorecards.

"I won all twelve rounds versus an undefeated world champion. I am very proud of my performance. I knocked him down and that was one of the best fights I have put on," Ugas stated.
