It was reported in the Boston Globe, that Golden Boy Promotions, on behalf of Winky Wright, made a $6 million dollar offer to DiBella, Inc. for a December rematch with undefeated middleweight champion Jermain Taylor. Team Taylor is not looking to face Wright again in 2006, but did propose possibly hooking up for a rematch in April 2007.
Taylor will return to the ring on either Nov. 25 or Dec. 2 in Little Rock, Ark., with the likely opponent being former junior middleweight champion Kassim Ouma.
Taylor and Wright battled to a unsatisfactory draw in June on HBO.
