Wright and Shaw Make Up, Soliman Fight is Back On

A follow-up to what was posted here yesterday, the St. Petersburg Times now reports that promoter Gary Shaw and Ronald "Winky" Wright have reportedly made up and the December 10th bout with Sam Soliman is a done deal. The Wright-Soliman bout will be televised on HBO.

Initially, Gary Shaw quit as Winky Wright's promoter on Wednesday night, due to a dispute over negotiations. Shaw claimed that Winky's partners in his new promotional company, Winky Promotions, were conducting negotiations behind his back. Apparently it was a big misunderstanding that has now been sorted out.
