Driffield’s Curtis Woodhouse has had to withdraw from his March 16th fight with Jason Cook.  Woodhouse’s brother is in intensive care at Hull Royal Infirmary, forcing Curtis to pull out of the Coldwell Boxing bill.  Curtis has admitted that he would not be able to commit himself in training due to his brother’s ill health and did not want to shortchange his fans.

Woodhouse, 16-3 (11), posted a message on Boxrec’s British forum explaining his decision and hopes to return to full training as soon as his brother is back to full health.  Nasser Al Harbi’s English light-middleweight title eliminator against Jamie Ball will now top the bill.
