Based on the fact that KnockOut Promotions won the purse bid for the fight between Krzysztof Włodarczyk and Giacobbe Fragomeni, the for the WBC cruiserweight belt will probably take place on June 5th in Warsaw, Poland. The offer of the Polish group amounted to $616,000 dollars and exceeded the OPI 2000 tender by $139,000.

The contest will be a rematch for the exualized fight which took place in Rome one year ago and finished with a draw. The second bout between the Pole and the Italian will be most likely Torwar Hall in Warsaw. The arena seems to be a fortunate place for Włodarczyk who managed to win the IBF title there by outpointing Steve Cunningham in November 2006.
