Polish cruiserweights Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (49-3-1, 35 KOs) and Mateusz Masternak (35-3, 25 KOs) are very interested in battling each other on September 26th as part the Polsat Boxing Night in Lodz.
Wlodarczyk is still one of the more dangerous players in the division. He was unseated last November when he lost a twelve round unanimous decision to Grigory Drozd of Russia. They were set to have a rematch a few months ago, but it never went through and not likely to happen as the rematch clause period has passed, according to Drozd's camp.
Masternak was last in the ring on June 6th, when he lost one of the worst split decisions in recent memory to Johnny Muller in South Africa. The decision was so bad that Muller's own promoter protested the outcome.
