The championship brothers, Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko, are both calling WBA heavyweight champion David Haye their "first choice" option for the fall. The two brothers are trying to secure Haye at the same time. While this is ongoing, the Klitschkos are getting other opponents in place.

"At this stage we are negotiating with him [Haye] and the negotiations have not been completed. But I suspect David Haye will once again refuse to fight. If that happens, my next opponent will be Alexander Povetkin," Wladimir told Sport-Express.

"I do not care who I fight next," Vitali said. "But in general, I would rather fight Haye because of his WBA title. Me and my brother would like to get that WBA title. Anyway, I'm ready for this fight. Haye makes make all of these challenges, but as my brother and I have said many times, all of these statements are good, but Haye has yet to step in the ring with us."

If Vitali can't get Haye, he wants to fight the "Russian Giant" Nikolai Valuev. He tried to make an agreement for Valuev. He says Valuev's co-promoter Don King is tough to deal with.

"Don King is very difficult to sit with at the negotiating table. But in the interest of the public, I would like to see this fight with Nikolai happen in the near future," Valuev said.
