WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko gave his take on older brother Vitali's upcoming defense of the WBC title. Vitali Klitschko will make a defense against his mandatory challenger, Odlanier Solis, this coming Saturday in Cologne, Germany. It won't be an easy fight, says Wladimir, but he expects his brother to win the match with experience. Solis (17-0, 12KOs), a 2004 Olympic gold medal winner, is only taking part in his 18th pro fight and his list of opponents does not come close to the record of Vitali (41-2, 38KOs).
"Big brother is looking in great shape. I'm really looking forward to this ifght. It won't be easy in the ring because Odlanier Solis is 30-years-old, it's his first world title fight and he's going to bring a lot of engery to the ring. You cannot underestimate him. I think Vitali is is in amazing shape. I think he's going to give everything as he usually does and show Solis that he probably needs to learn more things to become a champion," Wladimir told Sky Sports.
