IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko talked to Sportbox.ru about Saturday's title defense against mandatory Eddie Chambers. The Ukrainian also mentioned Alexander Povetkin, who is the official IBF contender and his future opponent.

“I’m ready for the fight with Chambers. As for his speed, we’ll how fast he is in the ring”, - said Klitschko. – “However he is better than the majority of boxers in the world ratings. Some say that Chambers doesn’t have powerful punch? I personally don’t intend to evaluate his punch. I’ll better let him to evaluate mine. During my preparation I watched Eddie’s last 4-5 bouts, including the ones with Alexander Dimitrenko, Alexander Povetkin and Samuel Peter. Chambers was really good in the fight with Dimitrenko, while against Alexander, to be honest, disappointed me. But in his fight with Povetkin,  Sasha was the better boxer, he was stronger. In the last 3-4 rounds Chambers did almost nothing."

Wladimir also denied rumors about taking a possible voluntary title defense between fights with Chambers and Povetkin. “No, next on my list is the mandatory IBF title defense, so at first I’ll meet Chambers, and then – Povetkin”, - promised the Ukrainian.
