WBO/WBA/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (57-3, 50KOs) says the reason there were so many clinches was because Jean Marc Mormeck (36-5, 22KOs) was trying to shoot up on the inside with his head.

Wladimir believes the former cruiserweight champion was trying to initiate a strategy of tiring him out by moving forward and trying to keep the fight moving at a rapid rate. Instead Mormeck was knocked down in the second and then finished off in the fourth.

"Mormeck tried to move forward, trying to put pressure on me like he did with [David] Haye, and that was one of the best fights in the Frenchman's career until he moved up to heavyweight. As for me, I continued to follow the plan. It was my 60th fight in a 15 year career and I'm still hungry to win," Wladimir said.
