During a recent conversation with IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko in Manhattan's financial district, he told BoxingScene that he begins training camp on October 1 in the Poconos, New York.
"I'm heading to camp on October 1 in the Poconos. The same location I used for my training when I fought Samuel Peter in Atlantic City," Klitschko said.
Klitschko appeared in top shape, and said that he was ready for tough fight with top-rated contender Calvin Brock, when the two fighters meet on November 11 in Madison Square Garden. Klitschko noted that if he sees an opening, he will take the opportunity to end the fight early.
"I look forward to fighting Calvin Brock in Madison Square Garden. It may go a few rounds. If I see an opening to end the fight, I will take it. It's my job," Klitschko said.
Becoming more Americanized, Klitschko revealed his love for rap music and the hip-hop culture.
"Sure, I love rap music. I listen to it often. My favorite rapper is 50-Cent."
