In a recent interview with Smooth Magazine, Ronald "Winky" Wright let the mag know that former champion Felix Trinidad is still affiliated with his promotional company, Winky Promotions.
"Felix Trinidad is with us," Wright said when the question was posed as to Trinidad's status with the company. Wright did note that there is nothing in writing, like a contract, that binds Trinidad to his company as a partner or otherwise.
Wright feels that with Trinidad's movie star status in Puerto Rico, the company will be able to sign a lot of talented prospects in the country.
Wright is set to face light heavyweight Bernard Hopkins at a catch-weight of 170-pounds on July 21, on HBO pay-per-view.
