Willy Hutchinson maintained his unblemished ledger with a stoppage win.

Hutchinson, trained by Dominic Ingle, is now 5-0 with three early after having his hand raised, exclusively live on BoxNation, as part of the 12-fight MTK Global output deal, on Saturday.

Taha Mirhosseini, who recently signed a pact with Manchester promoter and manager Kieran Farrell, was outclassed throughout and was on the wrong end of an early finish after 61 seconds of the third round.

And Frank Warren-promoted Hutchinson, a former world amateur champion who also won European Junior gold in the unpaid ranks in 2014, will now be looking to stay active, having most recently been in action back in May at Elland Road in Leeds, as part of the supporting cast to Josh Warrington’s IBF featherweight world title victory over former champion Lee Selby.

In defeat, Iran-born Mirhosseini slipped to 0-2 with both defeats quick.

Kieran Smith was dominant throughout as he scored win number 11 on his continually unblemished ledger.

The Greenrigg super-welterweight, nicknamed ‘Chopper’, beat up his opponent.

Smith snapped a hiatus of well over 12 months with the pretty faultless display against the game Miguel Aguilar, exclusively live on BoxNation, as part of the first of MTK Global’s 12-show broadcasting deal with the channel.

And after putting his shots together sensationally, and even being remarked by TV commentator Alex Steedman as “looking like a super-welterweight version of [Belfast super-lightweight] Tyrone McKenna,” Smith’s performance on a card topped by Darragh Foley’s WBA Oceania super-lightweight title fight against Chris Jenkins was rewarded with a tally handed in from the referee of 60 points to 54.

Meanwhile, Aidan McGlynn kicked off proceedings with a 60 points to 55 decision win over Taka Bembere and there was a win for Chris ‘Trigger’ Wood against Darryll Sharp.
