According to UK publication ITV, American super-middleweight contender Rubin 'Hollywood' Williams (29-2, 16KOs), has set his sights on Joe Calzaghe, and is trying to secure a fight with the ruler of the super middleweight within the next 12 months. Calzaghe is recovering from a hand injury he suffered in during his career defining win over Jeff Lacy in March. Williams holds an amateur win over Jeff Lacy, but was stopped by Lacy when the two met in pro ranks in 2005.

"I want to fight the best like Calzaghe or the (Mikkel) Kessler - (Markus) Beyer winner. I rise to the level of my competition. I've been knocked out, cut and fought back. There's nothing more for me to experience other than winning a major world title. And that's exactly what I'm going to do when I get a shot. Until then I'm willing to fight anybody in the top 20," Williams said.
