Badly overmatched  Filipino Jun Paderna suffered a brutal stoppage in just one-hundred seconds into the first round against undefeated Australian Aboriginal boxer William “Cool Willie” Kickett on the undercard of the IBO super flyweight title fight between Vic Darchinyan and Federico Catubay in Sydney, Saturday night.

Sports Nut reported that Kickett started faster than usual and after covering up against a mini onslaught from Paderna “devastated him with a barrage of punches.”

Paderna beat the count but could not escape more Kickett bombs forcing the referee to call a halt at 1:40 of the first round.

The 20 year old Kickett has been hailed by legendary trainer Johnny Lewis as the best Aboriginal fighter since former world bantamweight champion Lionel Rose.

The win improved Kickett’s record to 8-0 with 5 knockouts while Paderna dropped to 8-8 with 4 KO’s.
