WBC heavyweight champion Deontay "The Bronze Bomber" Wilder (33-0, 32 KOs) is expected to have a packed house when he makes the first defense of his world title against Eric "Drummer Boy" Molina (23-2, 17 KOs) on June 13th from the Bartow Arena in Birmingham, Alabama. The fight will be televised on Showtime.

Wilder capture the title in January, going the distance for the first time in his career with a twelve round unanimous decision over Bermane Stiverne at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. 

"Deontay Wilder has been the first American heavyweight champion in quite a while and he's getting the opportunity to make the first defense of his title in his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama," DiBella said. "There are less than 1,000 tickets left and we expect a sold out house of about 8,500 people and tickets are going to sell out well before fight night."
