The former Canadian champion at light-heavyweight (CBF), Ontario's Frank White (7-4-2), will try to lay hands on a national title, that of the CPBC, on the 10th of September. In the first of a series of shows to be presented at the Casino New Brunswick in Moncton by Victory Boxing Promotion. White will face Jason Douglas (9-4-0), also from Ontario.

Note that these two men had previously fought in the past. The first meeting, fought on April 8, ended in a split decision in favor of Jason Douglas.

The second championship fight (CPBC) of the show will feature Stuart McLellan (6-0-2) of British Columbia facing Ontario's Julius Bunda (4-1-0). On the same card at heavyweight, local boxer Norman Peters (1-5-0) fights Robbie Cameron (1-3-0). Also, Marcel Mallet Jr. will make his professional debut by facing Darren Fletcher (0-1-0) of Ontario.
