Future Hall of Fame entrants and current longtime rivals Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez are fighting fit and ready for their fourth encounter, which comes Saturday evening at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The latest entry in their eight-year rivalry takes place at the 147 lb. welterweight limit. Both fighters were well inside that mark. Pacquiao came in right at the divisional limit, while Marquez tipped the scales at 143 lb.
The bout headlines a four-fight pay-per-view telecast, which is offered at a suggested retail price of $59.95 (plus an additional $10 for HD purchase) and begins 9PM ET/6PM PT.
Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38KO) enters the fight on the heels of a controversial points loss to Tim Bradley this past June. Most viewers and ringside experts had Pacquiao winning the bout, but the official verdict marks the first time either he or Marquez enter a fight against each other on the heels of a loss.
