WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman was in Las Vegas Saturday for the Terence Crawford-Viktor Postol super lightweight unification clash.

Sulaiman was very impressed with the WBC/WBO champion's performance.

"He was tremendous. It was a very interesting fight. Both were 28-0 and Crawford just has tremendous technique and power and ring generalship.  Postol is a gentleman and lost his title but he will regroup and be back," said Sulaiman.

Crawford is now in the mix for a potential November fight against Manny Pacquiao and Sulaiman said there wouldn't be any issues with that fight from his perspective because Crawford doesn't have a mandatory obligation at he moment. Amir Imam was the mandatory challenger but relinquished that position when he lost to Adrian Granados in November.

"There is no mandatory for him right now because the mandatory was Iman and he lost his fight and there is a process to fill the mandatory position. So right now he will be free to do one voluntary defense," Sulaiman told BoxingScene.com.

The two top rated contenders are both undefeated. Antonio Orozco is sitting at number 1 and former world champion Rances Barthelemy of Cuba is at number 2.
