For the first time in history of boxing, there will be a female boxing convention and it will take place in Tijuana, Mexico.

At this meeting issues critical to women's boxing will be broached, such as crucial improvements in salary for female fighters and equal treatment by the promoters.

Several points are being assessed analyzed involving rounds which are still currently two and not three minutes. And world title bouts for women fighters remain at ten rounds instead of twelve for the time being.

Female boxing has blossomed in recent years, through its merit and dedication, bringing much pleasure to knowledgeable and appreciative fans. We’ve seen memorable battles between female fighters and during the first female boxing convention we will discuss issues of great importance to all of them" said Mauricio Sulaiman.

Among the confirmed guests are Chrisry Martin, Laila Ali and Laura Serrano.
