WBC Executive Secretary Mauricio Sulaiman says that any outstanding differences have been amicably resolved with Manny Pacquiao.

Just after the weigh-in ceremony in Mexico City, for the Edgar Sosa vs. Juanito Rubillar light flyweight clash, Mauricio explained: “Everything has been settled. Everything is ok, and we wish Manny the best of luck for his fight, and we will see what happens. Our President has spoken with his representatives, and there is no problem with Manny Pacquiao.”

Manny has paid $30,000 in outstanding sanction fees from the March rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez, as the WBC demanded at its Cheng Du Convention. But mystery still surrounds the $100,000 sanction fee the WBC had required from him for the upcoming fight against Oscar De La Hoya.

Mauricio Sulaiman didn’t confirm that money has been given. Rather he said: “As I said Manny is concentrating on the fight, there were holidays, our President was traveling, but everything has been agreed and arranged through his representative.”

Manny has also said it’s unlikely that he’ll be able to make the lightweight limit again. The WBC has ordered an interim title bout, and is waiting for Manny’s official decision following the bout against Oscar.
