Frank Warren, who at one time promoted Chris Eubank Jr., says the middleweight contender is putting on a front with his continuous challenges to Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs).

Golovkin, recognized as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport, holds the WBA, IBF, IBO and WBC middleweight world titles.

Eubank Jr. (22-1, 17KOs) will return to the ring on June 25th, when he defends his British title against unbeaten Tom Doran (17-0, 7KOs) on the undercard of Anthony Joshua's defense of the IBF heavyweight championship against Dominic Breazeale at the O2 Arena in London.

Eubank has been calling for a fall fight with Golovkin. The fighter is not impressed with Golovkin's streak of 22 straight knockouts. He ordered his promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom  to begin negotiations to secure a fight with Golovkin by the end of the year. Golovkin is planning to return to the ring on a date in September and has no issue with traveling over to the UK for the right fight.

"[I'll fight him] right now, tomorrow if possible," Eubank Jr told Sky Sports News HQ. "This guy is considered the best middleweight in the world and for me he doesn't deserve that position. For me, I feel like I have the tools to beat him so let's get it on.

Warren says Eubank and his father, Chris Eubank Sr., are not looking to face any fighter who presents a real threat. The veteran promoter claims Eubank was offered the opportunity to avenge the only loss of his career, which came at the hands of current WBO champion Billy Joe Saunders, and allegedly vanished when presented with the offer.

"He was offered a straight fight with Billy Joe Saunders - no options, no nothing. Never heard from him again. Never, ever heard from him again. We took every obstacle away. Winner take all, not the purses, but the winner walks away with the title - never heard from him again," Warren told IFL TV. "And then he calls out Golovkin. And what is he doing? He's fighting a guy on the undercard of [Joshua-Breazeale]. It's bullsh*t. It's an insult to the fans."

"Chris Eubank Sr. doesn't want his golden goose to get roasted and that's why they don't want that fight with [Saunders]."
