Wanheng Menayothin Defends WBC Crown on Nov. 24

World Boxing Council minimumweight champion Wanheng Menayothin (39-0, 14KOs) of Thailand will defend his title for the third time against Korean challenger Young Gil Bae (26-4-1, 21) on November 24 in Chonburi, Thailand.
This bout will be a rare treat for Korean fans, as it is the first time since 2013 that a fighter from their country will fight for a world title.
Bae is one of the most important fighters of Korea. He has 17 victories in a row and everyone from his country will be supporting him when he tries to become WBC champion.
Menayothin has defended his WBC title two times after he conquered it defeating Mexican toughman Osvaldo Novoa in 2014
