Job Walters, father and trainer of WBA featherweight champion Nicholas Walters (23-0, 19KOs), was not impressed with Nonito Donaire's ninth round stoppage of Vic Darchinyan on Saturday night in San Antonio, Texas. On the same card, Walters blasted out Alberto Garza in four rounds.

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who promotes both Walters and Donaire, wants to match the two of them in 2014. The elder Walters believes his fighter will be too much for the Filipino Flash, who started his career at flyweight and now finds himself in the dangerous featherweight ranks.

"You see those guys who fought a while ago [Donaire and Darchinyan], we'll take any one of them on - and they know too. It doesn't matter who. All of them know that our power, our skills - is too much, too supreme for them. You can see what they are doing in there, they take too long to finish. When we hit people, we really hit people and they stay [down]," Job Walters said.
