GETEC Arena, Magdeburg, Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany - Christina Hammer (17-0, 8 KOs), a Germany-based Kazakh import (of German origin), defended her WBF and WBO middleweight straps in a dominant fashion, sweeping out determined and rugged challenger Jessica Balogun (23-3, 11 KOs) in ten rounds. Scores were identical between all three judges: 100-90 - for the German champion.

Hammer, 24, was in full control of the fight from the starters. She circled around a physically stronger but limited challenger, using her jabs and lateral movement to frustrate Balogun, 25. The latter gave her all, landed some leather but ultimately not enough even to win a single round against Hammer, who has been holding her belts for three years already.

Someone's "O" has got to go in a a battle of two undefeated boxers for the IBF Youth cruiserweight title, and it was Shefat Isufi's unblemished record, which has been thrown to the window, as his 21-year old opponent Dennis Ronnert (20-0, 14 KOs) celebrated another win of his already five-year long career.

It was a close fight between two well-matched boxers: a hulking, physically strong IBF #13 Ronnert and a more gracile and fast-moving Isufi, an ethnic Albanian from Serbia. Ronnert had his success in close range, while naturally smaller Isufi utilized wise stick-and-move strategy. Isufi looked to be more successful of the two in the closing rounds, however Ronnert tagged Isufi with a big left hand and hurt him badly late into the tenth and final round.

Final scores were: 96-93, 97-93 and 98-92 - for the German. BoxingScene had it closer: 96-94 - but also for Ronnert. Isufi is now 12-1-2, with 8 KOs.

Schadwill was down three times in the second round - all three times due to hard right hands to the head. The last knockdown ended that fight. The end came at 2:11 of the round - KO 2 win for Wallisch.
