Mellringe, Sweden - Promoter Kamran Kabinejad staged a successful small hall show at the Mellringe Hall on the outskirts for Orebro, Sweden, with a mixed show with amateur boxing, M M A and then the real thing, professional boxing:

Cruiserweight Wael Haddad, 41, headlined in his farewell bout, outscored Russian Andrei Afian over four. Haddad, hailed as a can´t miss prospect in younger days, walked through his opponent scoring with hard punches from both hands winning on scores of 40-36 on all cards. Wael was indeed a bright prospect but got into legal problems but is since a few years back clean and doing good - and what a fighter he could have been ...

Bosnian cruiserweight Halid Ranica beat Michael Cherkas on points after four exciting rounds. Ranica scored well but was too eager and left himself open for counters which made for a good fight.

Ugandan jr. middleweight Michael Obin took it too easy against Vladimir Galimov and was stunned in the third before upping the pace to win a majority decision after four.

Female welterweight Mikaela Lauren outscored Viktoria Demidova over six two minute rounds. Lauren challenged Cecilia Braekhus last year but was outclassed and still pushes her punches way too much to even dream of a re-match.
