Unified world champion Wladmir Klitschko believes that up and coming heavyweight contenders Tyson Fury and David Price will one day become title holders in their own right and that he is destined to face one of them in the ring soon.

The 35 year-old, who has a remarkable 50 knockouts in 57 victories, has already been called out by Irish title holder Fury for a bout in 2013 and sees both British fighter’s as the future of the division.

“I will mention that here in Great Britain you have two fighters that are young and are true heavyweights,” Klitschko told Sky Sports’ Ringside show yesterday.

"That's David Price, obviously, and Tyson Fury. I think they're both very talented. I think they will belong, in a certain period of time, at the top. They will become champions at certain times.

"I think they have to gain experience, of course, and I would say that probably one of them is going to end up as an opponent of the Klitshcko brothers.

"It's great. It's always been like that in the history of boxing that young generations change the older generations of boxers.

"I'm not saying we are going to lose, but I'm saying eventually they will come up and will fight for the title and they're obviously going to become, one day, champions."

Fury, 23, is set to fight for the 19th time professionally on July 7th, whilst Price is hopeful of making his American debut a week later on the Amir Khan v Danny Garcia undercard at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

28 year-old British and Commonwealth champion Price has already moved to distance himself from a challenge against the younger Klitschko for at least 18 months and the more likely scenario would be Wladimir v Fury sometime in the next twelve months.
