The WBC world heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko spoke to Golzka and was quoted as saying that David Haye, ruler of the WBA title, continues to be afraid to fight him and his brother, WBO/IBF/IBO champion Wladimir Klitschko. The Klitschko brothers have tried without success to get Haye in the ring for a fight.
Klitschko doesn't want to wait any longer to fight Haye. He is ready for the fight in the fall. He tells the paper that Haye's management has yet to respond to their offers after challenging them to a fight.
"Haye continues to be afraid. He knows everything will be over when he gets in the ring with a Klitschko brother. All he does is talk about fighting a Klitschko. We made the offers and he runs away from us. I want to fight Haye very much. I'm ready right now and I will knock him out and take his WBA title," Klitschko said.
