The Baltimore Sun is reporting that Vitali Klitschko will undergo arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee and will then have up to 90 days to reschedule his WBC title defense against challenger Hasim Rahman.

Klitschko apparently spoke with WBC president Jose Sulaiman on Sunday, and was able get the sanctioning body to agree to a 90 day extension to reschedule the fight.

Boxing promoter Bob Arum, told that paper that Klitschko-Rahman may land somewhere between February and April of next year.
