WBO flyweight World Champion Brian Viloria ducks nobody. That's why it comes as no surprise that his first title defense for the crown he captured against Julio Cesar "Pingu" Miranda last July is against one of the top pound-for-pound fighters of today in Giovani Segura (28-1-1, 24 KOs).
"I don't care if he's in the pound for pound list. I'm not scared of him," Viloria said about his friend and former sparring partner.
Segura has promised to try and knockout Viloria in front of his Filipino fans at the Ynares Center in Pasig City this Sunday, December 11. "I'm very happy. This is for the sport. Me and Brian, we're friends, but I came here to knock him out we're here to fight. He's ready, I'm ready and we will knock each other out." stated by Segura.

"Everybody knows that Giovani got power. It shows in his record. That's what he loves. That's how he knocks everybody out; his power. He has that power. That's no secret to nobody. It's just come that night of the fight, if he's going to land those shots. If I can take those shots. I know it's going to be a great fight Sunday night," an unfazed Viloria said during the final press conference for the event title "Island Assault 3" in Manila.
"Island Assault 3," presented by Zanfer Promotions and Saved by the Bell Promotions, will be available on PPV in the United States through Integrated Sports Media for live viewing at 8:00 PM/ET - 11:00 PM/PT on satellite pay-per-view via DISH Network.
