A crushing right hand from Victor "El Vikingo" Terrazas left Colombian challenger Jose Palma lying on the canvas. The fight was stopped at 57 seconds into the fourth round, as Terrazas retained his WBC silver super bantamweight title at the Municipal Auditorium in Arandas, Jalisco.
With the full support of the public who celebrated his victory, Terrazas showed his high quality and competitive nature against a strong South American who offered good opposition. Palma fought him in a toe to toe showcase, until the champion closed the show.
Terrazas raised his record to 34-2-1, with 19 knockouts, and Palma dropped to 15-6-2, and 10 knockouts.
