Victor Santillan and Noel Reyes Cepeda have made weight for a WBA junior featherweight interim title fight at Coliseo Carlos “Teo” Cruz in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Both fighters weighed in at 120.5lbs.
Cepeda, 19-4 (15 KOs), is entering on a 12-fight win streak. A 39-year-old from La Vega, Dominican Republic, Cepeda most recently defeated Norbelto Jimenez last December. During his win streak, 11 of Cepeda’s 12 wins have come by stoppage, with one win against Carlos Buitrago coming by way of split decision in October 2023.
Santillan, 15-2 (6 KOs), might be best known for his losses. A 30-year-old Dominican fighter who now resides in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, Santillan lost a split decision to Sho Ishida in 2023 and to Tenshin Nasukawa via a unanimous decision in June. Santillan picked up a third-round technical knockout over Alfree Ramirez in October.
