Top-ranked WBC light welterweight Victor Postol (24-0, 10 KOs) looks to close what was a great year for this undefeated prospect with a bang. On Dec. 26 #1 contender will try to get his fourth consecutive win in 2013 by taking on dangerously hitting Uzbek import Behzod Nabiyev (22-6-1, 16 KOs) in a scheduled ten-rounder. The fight takes place at SportLife Club in Kiev, Ukraine. Stepan Chernovetskiy of Elite Boxing Promotions stages the entire event.

Postol has been going postal this year. He opened it in March, decisioning tough American cookie Henry Lundy (22-2-1), then defeated another Uzbek Bahrom Payozov (21-2), and finally shut out Columbian slugger Ingacio Mendoza (38-7-2) over twelve. Nabiyev is just 1-4 since November 2012 but five of his six losses came against opponents with a combined record of 68-0.

In a co-feature, fan favorite Marat Kulumbegov (12-0-1, 7 KOs) faces once-defeated Ruslan Schelev (10-1, 6 KOs) over eight in a middleweight collision. Kayo artist Ilya Primak (6-0, 6 KOs) will try to extend his series of knockouts against Georgian Alexander Benidze (13-13-2, 6 KOs). Another Georgian Nikoloz Berkatsashvili (20-8, 8 KOs) will try to fire up undefeated featherweight Oleg Malynovksiy (10-0, 2 KOs) in a ten-rounder.
