At St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, a packed house saw a return to boxing in the first event put together by Sampson Lewkowicz's 340 Promotions. The main event of the show called “Class of 2008,” saw junior welterweight Victor Cayo (20-0, 14KOs) win a nine-round [not a type] decision over a very game Noe Bolanos (20-4, 12KOs). The scores were 89-81, 90-79 and 88-82.

On the undercard;

Junior middleweight Samuel Rogers (1-0) made his pro debut and won a four round decision over Erix Quinteros (0-3). The scores were 40-36 across. Rogers is related to former champion Julius Jackson.

Junior middleweight John Jackson [1-0, 1KOs and the son of Julius Jackson] made his pro debut and stopped Alphonso Alexander (0-1) in two brusing rounds.

Super middleweight Julius Jackson Jr. [1-0 and the other son of Julius Jackson] won a four round decision over Marvin Blair (2-4-1). The scores were 40-36 across.
